| Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk) | Same 420 x 420 x 500 mm build volume as the older Kobra 2 Max, so build volume will not tell them apart - but the Kobra 3 Max is faster (600 mm/s claimed against 500), runs Kobra OS with multi-colour support and a 4.3-inch touchscreen, and is lighter at 19 kg against 21 kg. Its acceleration ceiling is 10000 mm/s2, half the 20000 mm/s2 of the smaller Kobra 3 - a difference the marketing does not lead with | 3 sources

For the tangle warning, check spool rotation and the ACE Pro feed/buffer path using the official code-specific procedure. A feed warning can arise before material reaches the hotend, so locate the resistance before dismantling it.
Applies to: Kobra 3 Max with ACE Pro; the source does not describe the external single-spool configuration.
This replacement hub keeps the four ACE Pro tubes and external-spool tube connected, reducing tube changes when switching feed sources. Choose the standard V2 or PC4-M6 fitting version; the creator supplies inverted files for the Kobra 3 Max.
Applies to: Kobra 3, Kobra 3 Max and Kobra S1 Combo are explicitly named; Max needs the inverted geometry. This is not an automatic fifth-color upgrade.

Firmware, controls, connections and calibration.
For owners who need configuration access and local frontends, Rinkhals adds SSH, Moonraker and Mainsail/Fluidd while retaining the Kobra 3 Max stock interface and calibration workflow. Follow the model-specific package and recovery instructions.
Applies to: Kobra 3 Max and its Combo configuration; use its own package and a tested stock version.

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.
Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.
Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.
Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.
This review did not verify hardware upgrades for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
