Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk)Large Kobra 2. Against the small Kobra 2 machines: 320 x 320 x 400 mm build, 13 kg, dual-motor dual Z, 49-point LeviQ 2.0, 8 GB on-board storage and Anycubic APP support - but the bed ceiling drops from 110 C to 90 C, which matters for ABS and ASA. Anycubic's own comparison on the same page is against the older Kobra Plus (350 x 200 x 200 mm, Bowden, 180 mm/s), not against the Kobra 2

Removable Kobra 2 hotend cover

The creator’s replacement cover makes hotend and fan access easier while retaining the stock fan/duct option. It uses the case hardware plus three M3×10 screws; the listing also links a separate custom duct.

Applies to: Creator explicitly lists the Kobra 2 series. Check cover and duct versions together; Neo users additionally need the separate endstop adapter.

Problems & troubleshooting

Module abnormal: verify rebound and nozzle position

The module-error procedure first checks whether the calibration button returns freely. Run Position Calibration and confirm that the nozzle is centered over the module; save the correction and repeat leveling. Wiring checks follow if positioning is correct.

Applies to: Kobra 2 Plus offset-measurement module and its Position Calibration menu. Power down before following the source’s connector-inspection steps.

How to read this guide

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.

Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.

Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.

Ownership research & coverage

Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.

This review did not verify firmware customization or update guidance, hardware upgrades for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
