Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk)Sold bare and in bundles; dual-printhead and quad-printhead upgrade kits are separate products, so a Giga's nozzle count depends on which kit was bought. The four printheads sit on the same X axis and print four copies of the same model in parallel (or the same model in four colours) - this is not an IDEX or a toolchanger

Max print speed (claimed, mm/s)30-300 mm/s, with 150 mm/s given by ELEGOO as the recommended speed - far below the 500-600 mm/s claimed for desktop machines, which is the honest consequence of moving a gantry this size

Problems & troubleshooting

Uneven first layer across the four bed plates

The Giga procedure checks gantry parallelism, proximity-switch alignment, bed screws and differences between the four PEI plates. It then describes measuring plate offsets and correcting the mesh, so a single global Z-offset change is not the only diagnostic step.

Applies to: OrangeStorm Giga four-plate bed. Record the numbered plate measurements before following the mesh correction example.

Certified pre-owned machines carry no warranty

How to read this guide

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.

Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.

Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.

Ownership research & coverage

Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.

This review did not verify firmware customization or update guidance, printable modifications, hardware upgrades for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
