| Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk) | The last Neptune 3 still listed; the 3 Plus and 3 Max are gone from the store's Neptune section. Do not read Neptune 4 figures onto it: the 3 Pro runs Marlin, not Klipper, tops out at 180 mm/s rather than 500, uses a 36-point mesh rather than 121-point, and its nozzle stops at 260 C rather than 300 C. Its machine size, 475 x 445 x 515 mm, is identical to the Neptune 4's, so body dimensions will not tell them apart | 3 sources

ELEGOO’s nozzle-clogging procedure starts with filament size and slicer configuration, then checks the heatbreak fan, gearbox and PTFE installation. These checks help separate a nozzle obstruction from heat creep or an upstream feeding fault.
Applies to: Neptune 3 Pro/Plus/Max are named by the source; the Pro uses its own replacement parts and configuration.

ELEGOO publishes firmware and mechanical/electrical files for the Pro. The update instructions pair screen and mainboard versions and require selecting the mainboard file for the exact machine; a shared source tree does not make Pro/Plus/Max binaries interchangeable.
Applies to: Neptune 3 Pro-specific firmware; use the stated compatible display/mainboard pair. This is manufacturer source and stock update documentation.

| Warranty length & support reputation (evidence, not vibes) | 12 months on brand-new machines and parts, but ELEGOO's own table excludes a long list of parts from that: PEI plate / build plate / nozzle kit / PTFE tube / heater / thermistor / hot end / packaging / manual / tools carry no warranty at all, and the extruder, extruder kit and printhead kit get 6 months. Certified pre-owned machines carry no warranty | 1 source

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.
Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.
Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.
Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.
This review did not verify printable modifications, hardware upgrades for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
