| Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk) | The Centauri Carbon 2 sold with the CANVAS multicolour unit. Every printing figure matches the bare Centauri Carbon 2; what changes is the body - 500 x 480 x 743 mm and 19.35 kg with CANVAS fitted - and CANVAS capability being listed Yes. Against the first-generation Centauri Carbon: 350 C nozzle rather than 320 C, clog detection added, and a HEPA plus coconut-shell carbon filter stack rather than the nano mineral crystal filter. ELEGOO’s shared guide starts by checking nozzle-tip wear, then uses a controlled extrusion test, cleaning needle and cold-pull route. Follow the illustrated toolhead reassembly and test before returning to a long print.
Applies to: Centauri 2/Combo and Centauri Carbon 2/Combo are explicitly named; use the matching toolhead and temperature instructions.
This replacement changes to the FlowTech cold-change nozzle system. Select the Centauri Carbon 2 option because the manufacturer distinguishes its thermistor parameters from the first-generation printer.
Applies to: Centauri Carbon 2/Combo; use its CC2 option. The listing does not establish compatibility with the open-frame Centauri 2.

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.
Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.
Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.
Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.
This review did not verify firmware customization or update guidance, printable modifications for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
