| Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk) | Base model of the K1 family. The differences that matter are in the hotend: the K1 uses a metal + PTFE-tube hotend with a copper nozzle, while the K1C is all-metal with a steel-tipped nozzle integrated with the heatbreak and adds an air filter and a 1080p AI camera. Creality's own comparison table annotates the K1 hotend "Changing to All-metal Soon", so the hotend on a given unit depends on when it was built - check before buying. The K1 Max is the 300 mm version with 1000 W rated power and Ethernet; the K1 SE has a PA+30%GF hotend and an epoxy plate | 2 sources

Extrusion, heating, leveling and material handling.
Start at the rear spool and PTFE inlet, then compare manual feeding with automatic feeding. Creality’s decision tree separates tangled filament, an extruder-front-cover jam, debris on the gears and a hotend blockage before considering motor or nozzle replacement.
Applies to: K1 stock feed path. The source contains legacy nozzle-replacement references; identify the installed hotend before ordering parts.

Creality’s kit changes the toolhead/feed system to support CFS multi-color printing. Check the hotend-identification procedure first and use the kit’s installation, firmware and filament-loading workflow together.
Applies to: K1, K1 Max, K1C and K1 SE; manufacturer excludes K1C 2025 and K1 Max 2025. Earlier K1/K1 Max hotend compatibility must be checked.

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.
Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.
Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.
Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.
This review did not verify printable modifications for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
