Street price (USD; dated snapshot per entry)Creality's K1-series comparison page lists $359 for the K1 SE (Aug 2026); it does not appear as its own product on the Creality US store printer sitemap, so no separate live store price could be recorded

Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk)The cheapest K1. It keeps the 220 mm cube volume, CoreXY frame and 600 mm/s claim but drops a lot: hotend body is PA+30%GF rather than all-metal, the build plate is epoxy rather than PEI, there is no air filter, no chamber heating entry at all in Creality's table, no foreign-object or failure detection, and the AI camera, remote monitoring and time-lapse are optional. Its filament list stops at Hyper PLA, PLA, PETG and TPU. It does get the steel-tipped nozzle integrated with the heatbreak and dynamically balanced fans, which the base K1 does not

Manufacturer enclosure kit

Creality offers a model-specific enclosure to surround these open machines. Follow its assembly and clearance instructions; the accessory listing alone does not establish a controlled chamber temperature or a new material rating.

Applies to: Creality explicitly names K2 SE and K1 SE. Confirm door, bed and filament-path clearance after assembly.

Problems & troubleshooting

Idling or clicking extruder: locate the feed obstruction

Start at the rear spool and PTFE inlet, then compare manual feeding with automatic feeding. Creality’s decision tree separates tangled filament, an extruder-front-cover jam, debris on the gears and a hotend blockage before considering motor or nozzle replacement.

Applies to: K1 SE stock feed path. Use the K1 SE removal sequence and identify the installed nozzle before replacement.

CFS multi-material upgrade kit

Creality’s kit changes the toolhead/feed system to support CFS multi-color printing. Check the hotend-identification procedure first and use the kit’s installation, firmware and filament-loading workflow together.

Applies to: K1, K1 Max, K1C and K1 SE; manufacturer excludes K1C 2025 and K1 Max 2025. Earlier K1/K1 Max hotend compatibility must be checked.

How to read this guide

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.

Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.

Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.

Ownership research & coverage

Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.

This review did not verify printable modifications for this exact model. That is a research gap, not a claim that none exist.
