$1,199.00 assembled, $899.00 as a kit, for the 10th Anniversary Edition on prusa3d.com, Aug 2026. This is above the price the standard MK3S+ sold at, so do not read it as the MK3S+ street price

| Property and unit | Published value and conditions | Sources and dates |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer & exact marketed model name (verify the exact product identity first) | Original Prusa i3 MK3S+. The only version still listed in Aug 2026 is the "Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 10th Anniversary Edition" | 1 source |
| Street price (USD; dated snapshot per entry) | $1,199.00 assembled, $899.00 as a kit, for the 10th Anniversary Edition on prusa3d.com, Aug 2026. This is above the price the standard MK3S+ sold at, so do not read it as the MK3S+ street price | 1 source |
| Variants & sibling models — and how to tell them apart (spec-contamination risk) | Only the 10th Anniversary Edition remains on sale; the standard MK3S+ is gone from Prusa's printer listing. Two official upgrade paths change the machine substantially and are frequently confused with it: MK3.5 (xBuddy board and new LCD, keeps the MK3 extruder) and MK3.9 (adds the Nextruder). A caution on Prusa's own pages: the "Awards & Press Reviews" paragraph about the MK3S is reproduced verbatim on the MINI+ product page, so award text found on a Prusa page does not necessarily belong to the printer on that page | 4 sources
|
| Market position: superseded? successor announced? | Superseded by the MK4/MK4S line. Prusa cut MK3S+ prices at the MK4 launch in March 2023 and said it would keep selling the MK3S+ at a lower price and hold spare parts in stock |

| Frame construction & material | Cut aluminium frame - Prusa's MK4 announcement contrasts "the cut aluminum frame we used so far" with the MK4's new die-cast frame | |

The manufacturer separates heat creep from other clogs. Check the feed path, heatsink cooling and enclosure conditions, then follow the relevant unclogging procedure rather than assuming heat creep is the cause.
Applies to: MK3S+ is explicitly within the article’s scope; modified hotends require their own assembly and firmware checks.
The creator’s replacement geometry prevents a fitted Revo Six from turning in its mount; the body and cover are alternatives, so use one.
Applies to: MK3S+ with the Revo Six conversion already installed; this is not a stock V6 requirement.
The 24 V Revo assembly changes the nozzle/heater system and allows the Revo nozzle-change workflow. Install its matching thermal-model firmware as part of the conversion.
Applies to: MK3/MK3S/MK3S+ kit; choose 24 V for a stock MK3S+ and match the actual Revo heater version.

| Auto bed leveling: probe technology (inductive / strain gauge / load cell / touch probe) | SuperPINDA inductive probe (Prusa's temperature-drift-free replacement for the original PINDA), driving automatic mesh bed levelling and a self-test routine | 1 source |
The multi-material unit requires printer-specific extruder changes and the Einsy/Rambo cable. Its profiles differ from the CORE/MK4 MMU3 workflow.
Applies to: MK3S+ MMU3 kit and matching firmware/profiles; moving the unit to an xBuddy printer requires different parts and wiring.

Prusa documents separate firmware configurations for third-party hotends, including E3D Revo. Match the hotend and heater configuration so the thermal model reflects the installed hardware.
Applies to: MK3S+ stock V6 and Revo builds are different; use the exact Revo heater-power variant if that upgrade is installed.

This guide presents the catalog’s sourced record for this exact model. Source dates belong to each reference; a page update does not mean every specification has been rechecked.
Prices are dated listing snapshots, with configuration, regional and sale conditions. They are not current offers. Unknown values remain unfilled.
Firmware, variants and available accessories can change. Read the original reference before making a purchase or planning a process.
Firmware, modifications and troubleshooting links are checked against the model and stated hardware or firmware revision. A creator’s compatibility claim is not a fit test by this site. Official troubleshooting describes a diagnostic route; individual reports do not establish a failure rate.
